The ELIOS (Electronics for the Information Society) Lab of the Department of Electronics and Biophysical Engineering (DIBE) at the University of Genoa is engaged since years in the research and development of innovative multimedia and 3D Virtual Reality systems in several application fields such as Serious Games and Simulations.

ELIOS Lab effort is in particular focused on the development of multimedia systems that use cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence methods to process context information and provide tailored services to the end-user.

ELIOS Lab has been the leader of and participated in several European projects in the fields of Technology Enhanced Learning, Human-Computer Interaction and Gaming.
